The great problem with cold-water fish oil is that it becomes very rancid very fast when it is exposed to Oxygen. The polynsaturated fatty acids in fish oil are very molecularly unstable. There are some studies done on rats that show that supplementing with fish oil increases markers of oxidatie stress like superoxide anion and Hydrogen peroxide. I will try to find these studies and post them. Grape seed oil seems to lower LDL and boost HDL with much less increase in markers of oxidative stress.

i agree to a point, i would have to look into the free radical increase, amber bottles and refrigeration should decrease that somewhat. I would care more about inflammation then cholesterol markers however.
either way its interesting but i tend to avoid grape seed oil because im prone to inflammation.
