Honestly, I think it depends on the person you're interested in. I for one, couldn't really date a shy person because that's the last thing I am. It's not the rule, hell, my longest relationship of 7 years, he's a calm, patient, nothing phases him type of person, must of been all the gear he's on, I dunno. But it worked for the most part

i know what your saying, i could fit well with a girl like me, of course.. but what im saying is that unless your willing to go and talk to a person, start a conversation, then you have no chance of hookign up with them. and simply stated, im just not willing, or...emm..able.. to do that. i dont really get the whole concept of chit-chat. i can have meaningful discussions, but i can NOT do small talk. it doesnt make any sense to me and frankly i dont know how to do anything "small". if i open my mouth its to say something with substance. the only oppurtunities do so in everyday life would have me looking preachy, because most people dont talk abotu substantive things and the only time i could interject with substance is to correct their ignorant , insensitive, hateful, negative statements that are so common among most people. .. and now i seem arrogant... which is why i just keep to myself
