I can't even get 1 or 2 pills of codeine when my head feels like it's exploding due to tooth ache.
Never got any narcotics after surgeries like hernia surgery or pec tear repair either.

In the US it seems like they are prescribed when they wouldn't really be needed but here you (or I) can't get get it when they would really offer needed relief.
I have a hard time believing as educated as your are you can not hunt down a couple hydrocodiene lol

You are right bro. I'm actually saving up my paid time off so I can go cold turkey. No way I can go to work and go through that at the same time. Suboxone is just switching addictions. Some people are better off on it though.

That's why I said "dependent" on your personality. You have to tough it out and tough it out fast. Most people don't have the luxury of taking time off of work to rehab real quick.

Some folks have never felt what it feels like to give up a bad habit either.

If you DO know what it feels like to give up a long-lasting highly addictive bad habit, then you may as well just go Cold Turkey.

2 weeks and the worst will be over.

Suboxone, you may never want to stop.

Methadone, 2 years and then you are forced to make a decision.

It all depends on how much of a hard ass you can be, knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel.... A much better and brighter light.

In the end, it's worth the pain to quit. I don't give a shit what it is.

It depends on how much you are taking! if you are taking 480mg of oxycontin you cant just go cold turkey you can have a seizure or stroke! Always taper down very slowly and you might need suboxone depending on how much you were taking. suboxone is very addictive thats why it should only be used for 21 days at most. If you are using just a small amount like 80mg a day for a few months you can go cold turkey but like I said if your dose is very high like 480mg oxycontin a day you have to taper off slowly and use either suboxone or subutex. I think suboxone is a poor choice just because your pretty much just trading drugs. subutex in a small dose for a few weeks should do the trick. even after that you will have urges and you probably will not feel 100% for awhile they say it takes half the time you have been using to feel normal meaning if you have been on oxycontin for a yhear it will take 6 months of being clean till you feel 100% normal. This is why prescription drugs are the best investment.3 years back I got hit by a drunk driver who was going very fast and ran a red light, I got T-Boned and my car spun 270 degrees I also almost flew out of the car. I was put on oxycontin and oxycodone for breakthrough pain. I was already had investments in the drug market wich was a good thing because I was given huge amounts of narcotics 240mg oxycontin and 240mg of roxicodone. I have been on and off for 3 years. I have a fracture in my T12 and herniated disc in my L4 and L5. my sciatica nerve flares up all day long and I also have blown discs in my neck. the pain killers just make me feel normal so i can still work out and live a normal life. The pills made me very euphoric only for a few months but like I said now they just make me feel normal. the lady had full coverage so I got a huge settlement twice as much as usual anytime you get hit by a drunk remember you are entitled to double the money you would usually get say if they were sober when they hit you.roxicodone is the most addictive pharmaceutical drug there is! if you binge on roxicodone 30mg bues for just 3-5 days you are likely to get hooked.LIKE TOO SHORT SAID"IT'S YOUR LIFE DONT BE STUPID THOUGH" ITS FUNNY HOW A PILL SO SMALL CAN TAKE OVER YOUR LIFE
