I never posted that anabolic steroids leads directly to kidney failure however it is a contributory factor (Herlitz, Markowitz, Farris, Schwimmer, Stokes, Kunis, Colvin & D'Agati 2010).

forgot to mention creatine which GH 15 jsut mentioned

CREATINE has been well studied and documented to cause elevation in serum creatinine and may cause mild renal impairment in renal function.

if ppl are overdosing on this LEGAL supplement creatine they may not be aware of the possible risk of kidney damage due to creatine

all i know is that 1000s of 1000s of fellas all ove rthe world doing hormones im talking about 100s of thousands of men and women with no problems what so ever,, all athletes ,, house wives,, figure girls,, actors,, anyone and anything not even bodybuilding,, and no problems,,

same fellas do some creatine for few months and complain about kidnys ,,say sharp pains,,not all but a numebr i trained,,

zane is a regular guy ,, he will most likley grow old i dont know until what age ,, but he is already in his older years and seem liek a nice good hapy fella,, and he used aas and also diuretics but DID NOT ABUSE THOSE DIURETICS,,

I have personally witnessed gym members develop jaundice over supplement usage. That is a fact.

When ProHormones first came out, the bottles had more disclaimers than directions for usage. Most folks have the "if a little is good, more is better" attitude.

For the 1000's of dollars people use on drugs and supplements of all shapes and forms ..........take just a little bit of that money and get a regular physical and blood work.

Surely had Luke been doing this he would had known years before his retirement that his organs were going south. Kidneys just do not get up and go to shit in a couple of months.

But then with a pre exsisting kidney condition one might think that Luke was seeking regular medical attention?? Probably not because the doctors would had told him to get off all the drugs...clearly he was not ready to do that until he finally had no choice.

Blood work physicals and ultra sounds should be part of any sport supplement regiment. People are going to use if they want to, this can not be stopped but at least give them the direction to try and keep them safe from DEATH. This means doctors and tests.

I get it, I really do. I am old so I read the obituaries in the newspaper. I always check to see how old the deceased is and were and how they died. When the obituary doesn't reveal information on why or how they died, I am disappointed. However morbid it is, I know I do this because I hope to figure out how I can stay alive a bit longer.

When a bodybuilder dies, we all become obituary readers, hoping to find out how this person died so that we can avoid a similar demise. It is a morbid curiosity really. Many of us are wondering, do I do enough shit to kill me off early? Will I be another steroid statistic like Luke Woods? Of course we seldom have all the facts and even if we did, would it really change anything for us?

Life is risky. In order to become an elite bodybuilder today, one is likely to engage in all sorts of risky behaviors. Maybe Luke Wood did this and maybe he didn't....only he knows for sure and he is no longer in a position to tell us. Never the less, it is sad when someone in their prime passes on. I didn't know Luke, and I feel sad for him and more importantly for all those who knew and loved him.

Anyway, as some of you feel the need to digress about whatever you think caused Luke Wood's premature death, keep in mind that there are people who may read these posts who loved Luke and are suffering right now because he died. Have some compassion and respect for these folks when you post your feelings here.

Possible, but on the other hand, creatine has been used in large clinical trials, under medical supervision without adverse effects. Maybe on higher dosages though...
