Absolutely. Almost nobody could use their hands like a primed Tyson and the fact he could batter you on the street is testament to the fact he was considered a legit tough guy.
There will always be men who claim this, that and the other and whilst they may very well be able to justify their street reputations, there is always someone, somewhere that can just as easily beat them. Its a vicious circle and a hell of a shame that people still feel the need to prove themselves and forge reputations based on violence. Nobody cares how tough you are hand to hand anymore because there are kids, young teenagers, that are willing to pull out a gun and drop you for nothing more than a mobile phone or the change in your pocket.
