essential aspect.......... lard or oil in the tray has to be screaming hot,,, oven on full blast for 15 mins before you add the batter

lots of different recipes, basically a pancake mix,,, couldnt eat a beef/lamb/chickn/turkey/pork dinner with out a yorkshire pudding or puddings, covered in gravy

Are you on GLUE????

Roast beef, potatoes and Yorkshire pudding is one of the greatest comfort dishes of all time. You must have been eating third tier dog shit if that's  your honest opinion.

My grandma makes the best Yorkshire pudding too. She injects a fuckload of garlic into her roast and her gravy has a bit of sour cream and some other goodies that bring it to a new level. I always get her to make that for me on my birthday. I go into a coma after polishing off half a dozen plates of this.

every thing on that plate is BLAND. sorry, but i like my food with flavor. the roast beef might be ok if it was cooked by someone who knows what they are doing, more often than not its a horrible dish.  white potatoes, even if they were aboslutely smothered in garlic and butter, still very bland with a consistancy that is not appetizing in the least. peas. i dont even need to comment. yorkshire pudding. flour, eggs, milk.. again, another extremely bland food.  my food needs some spice, gotta be juicy, crispy, crunchy, hot, sweet, rich, heavily seasoned... something !!!

sunday roast has to be one of the tastiest meals you can have, how the fuck can roast potatoes be bland?, cooked in meat juices and roasted off, smothered in thick real gravy..... if your not ill after eating far too much, youve done it wrong

uk always gets bad rap for food, but we seem to have some of the best chefs

I'd much rather have a plate of hormonised, Genetically modified, nutritionally dead american food, the dietary equivalent to Greg Kovacs.

lol .. it would be hard to find someone cook them correctly

equal parts eggs, milk, and flour .. mix the eggs and milk first .. sift in the flour .. dash salt .. let the batter sit aside in a cool place ( not refrigerated ) for at least an hour .. pour batter through a sieve to remove any lumps then stir in 2 TB cold water and bake in hot shallow muffin tins

fill the tins 2/3 full after placing a bit of lard in each cup and getting it very hot but not burnt/smoking

quick fill the slots before it cools down and put back in for 25 minutes or so until golden crispy ... they re-heat like crap so best to eat the ones left cold
