He has good lines, not great. Flex's waist was smaller, symetrical abs, better chest line and insertions, better balance, better thigh structure.

Phil looks great though. He looks nowhere near as wide as Cutler on stage, he looks far better though, Jay looks like an abortion.

flex wasnt grainy, levrone wasnt grainy, cormier wasnt grainy, coleman wasnt grainy, preist wasnt grainy, dillet wasnt grainy, nasser wasnt grainy. dorian was grainy.  the 90's look was mass monster size with tight waists and sick conditioning. phil has that. and whose to sayin time he cant get more dense and hard looking? he certainly has in the pat couple years.  if he keeps doing what he has been doing he can easily surpass all of the guys from the 90's and attain ronnie coleman 2003 size with a tight waist.

Have you ever been up close to these guys in the 90's while they were in shape? I have and they were grainy. I've also been back stage at a lot of pros shows today and NO ONE is grainy. NO ONE impressed me with their conditioning. Pics don't so justice to these guys. I was first row back in 1990? at the Pittsburgh Pro that Samir Bannout won that year. This was the first time I had ever been that close to pros in shape. I was totally shocked at how fukin grainy these guys were. When they posed every little fiber just danced around under their skin. I NEVER saw this in pics. Like I said I have been back stage at a few of todays pro shows and no one has that look.

You are right.
I never wanted to look like Phil, Jay, Branch or Kai..........but I would give anything to look like Ronnie, Levrone or Flex............
The only three guys from today that you can say that could fit in the 90's is Wolf, Brandon Ray and Centopani.

Yep.
The only problem with his career is that he had several contests where he was off. However, Flex at his best was lights out game over. Best I've ever seen. 1993 was his best in my opinion...some say '98.

And this is coming from the biggest Haney fan around. Also a big fan of Shawn, Labrada, Ronnie, Serge Nubret, Sergio and Arnold, among others. But Flex's structure was true genetic marvel.

many ppl were expecting phil to win the olympia this year so if he waited it was going to be a comparison between one of the top pros of the 90s and the current mr. olympia.. as you know these comparisons are always done after every olympia to show the superiority of the 90s era!!..

This is true in 1992 (@ the USA) 1993 Ironman and 93 A/C....that Version of Flex was his best...@ the lighter BW he looked Near as good as you would get...Period.... when he came back from the car accident he gradually gained more and more "Muscle" til you just knew bye looking @ him he was starting to make regular trips to the supermarket in the "oils" section than the average house-wife...@ the 1999 O....it was Ridiculous the oil in his Delts and arms.... BUT Flex @ his Best was one of the best ever and against phil in his 93 shape i doubt Phil would beat him..against the 98-99 Version of Flex 50/50 ether way IMO the edge going to Phil with Superior Glute/ham tie-ins etc.
