The fact that gay men are so vastly overepresented in effeminate professions proves beyond reasonable doubt that gay men tend to be effeminate.  so these people who are stuck in the wrong body (effeminate gay men and masculine butch lesbians) pair up with eachother as a compromise between what they want and what they can have.

Anyhow I'd say about 5 percent of the population is gay, the ones that work in the 
feminine arts is well less than 1 percent of the total male population.

The tragedy of gay men is that they are effeminate men who want masculine men who are pretty much all attracted to women. This is a problem that in many cases lead to suicide. Many adolescent gay boys usually fall into deep depression when they realize that pretty much all of the masculine boys they find so attractive want girls. Dating other effeminate boys is not an option for them because they find effeminacy a complete turn-off. They end up accepting other effeminates as sexual/emotional partners out of a lack of option. The thing that puzzles me is that a lot of traits and behaviors have survived because they had some evolutionary value. What are the evolutionary and survival value of being a phag?
