I bought everything ''used'' on Craigslist ,I looked everyday for 2 years until I found good deals .

The yellow Powertec  and 300lbs of weight =$275
The Body Solid white machine  = $300
The  Para Body power rack , 300lbs of weight, dumbbell rack w/ dumbbells (10lbs -60 lbs) , bench, barbell, mirror and rubber mats = $600

I know what you are saying , my wife won't train in the garage , she needs the attention from the black dudes  , I only go with her on sunday morning, I get better workouts at home.
che how does your bench press on the powertec  bench compare to your free weight bench press just curious? for research purposes actually.

It works great , I quit bench pressing and my  shoulders feel great now , no more shoulder pain , I love that machine.

I don't keep track of weights but I think you can go 30-40 lbs heavier on the powertec.

My current gym doesn't have an incline barbell bench and it's driving me mad.

You train at a shit gym, do they have a decline bench??

We have both.

60,000 sq ft of top of the range equipment, a tonne of hammer strength machines also  ;)
not to mention all the Bollywood chicks who work out there.

BTW - home gyms suck ass & take up space.

I have never seen a good set up for ALL body parts in a home gym EVER.
Just so you know.

Here is a well known ex-getbiggers gym.

(sent by Jerryme)

What did Jerryme and Pumpster split up over? I know they were camming and microphoning every night but something must have caused the tiff that tore them apart. Only other big break up like it that springs to mind is Mike and Laura.

Lets start a post with all the bullshit we have heard from people asking us about being trained.

1. I don't want to get big

2.Im "going" to start "next week after".........

OMG... "I don't wanna get big" ~ that has to be by far the most common

Also "I just want to get fit and toned"

"Is it O.K if I drink alcohol?"

"I did everything you said and I still haven't lost any weight!"

"Can I get a deal if my sister comes and trains with me?"

"What are you doing this weekend?" LOL

It depends on how demanding you are. Though it may feel uncomfortable, a power rack, bench, pulley, DB's & BB's fit in a small room.

You can do 3/4 exercises for calfs at home  :o
Just admit that you are a pikey, & you can't afford to pay $120 a month for a decent gym, wanker.......

I know what a hot chick in lycra looks like, how many of them you got in ya home set up, dick head  ::)
We got 60,000 sq ft of top hole gear - standing & seated calf machines, decline bench, 45 deg less press, power racks, etc... + I can go round to the cardio section & get a woody.

But yeah Mumbai, is a shat hole  ;D

My wife looks 100X better than your wife or any curry muncher that you see at that shithole in Mumgay.

I hope this helps

PT, good looking gym, but in my opinion, a waste of money. I used to belong to a gym like this. The novelty of all the fancy machines gets old in a few weeks, and I found myself hardly using all those machines. After a few months, I realized I was mainly using free weights and wasn't utilizing all the extra stuff the gym had to offer. Canceled my membership and joined a more simpler looking gym.

Not to mention the novelty of all the hot girls walking around gets old as well. In the beginning its cool, but after a while you don't even pay it no mind. so its a good looking chick. You can see them anywhere.

Well, I guess if you don't pay, then its worth it. However, I would never pay money again to go to a gym like that. but like you said, its free, so might as well.
