Take away the higher contrast lighting (deeper blacks more top lit on the right image) and he hasn't improved all that much in that shot. You need to have a more discerning eye when looking at photos. He looks like he added 2-3lbs of muscle overall with the same conditioning. Not horrible, but not "a shit ton" either.
