When they announced on Superstars that the Federation was coming to either Nassau or MSG we'd go ape $hit. All the kids would be talking about it in school and my neighborhood. Boys and Girls. Then once we got a hold of the tickets. It was like waiting for Christmas to come. Torture! When the Brain came out on Pipers Pit. That whole lead up to WM III. Still one of the best times of my life. The walls of my bedroom were covered with pics of Hulkster for years. No one else was allowed on the wall until the arrival of Mr. Perfect. My nephews have a few Cena pics up. But compared to what we were in the 80's and 90's. They are two little poser "you can't see me" wannabe wrestling fans that have no idea what it used to be like. Their loyalty is to video games.

i know what you mean Tim. I used to get 2 copies of every magazine - 1 to keep and 1 to make collages to put on my wall. There was a point in time when i literally had every CM of my walls and my ceiling covered and i was delighted to show it off to my mates, we'd also make copies of the belts out of cardboard boxes and fight for them in the garden. Great memories

Great memories We did that also, although we call it "the yard" My mom still has the belts stashed away somewhere. I need to try to find them and post up pics.....would be pretty funny.

Ah...backyard wrestling...my "career" got cut short when I was about 9. I was wrestling with my neighbor (a boy my own age) and I gave him a knee lift (except I thought it was called "knee lip")...he got a bloody nose...nothing serious looking back on it, but I got a beating and was grounded from watching wrestling for two weeks. And yes, I cried.

My next door neighbor had a dog cage. We used to have a wild time in that thing. Then one kid during a match tried climbing over the top and fell on his head. Busted his collar bone. We weren't aloud to use it anymore after that. Great times!

Looks like the cages used by your typical indy promotion...and about as sturdy/reliable, too.
