I wasn't debating whether or not he decides to compete in 2012...I was responding to the notion that he would compete "well into his 40's" as the poster suggests...as. If he wouldn't have the ability to give up the stage for either mental of financial reasons....both of which are laughable...as those of us who know Jay PERSONALLY, would attest to.

what health reasons? outside of a muscle tear, he is the most watched bber medically in the ifbb along with his buddy, phil. it's pays to have a NP wife who just needs her doc buddy to sign off everything.

see, I think if Phil comes in a little 'off' and jay doesn't blow the biceps up again... he would win that show.

Everyone on the forums was thinking Jay was a cold cheater, shooting oil into his arm to try to keep up with the Heaths of the world in the arm department. LYING about it was not appreciated by some people on forums, and maybe there was some backlash. In the FINALS, Jay and Phil were pretty close.

Business-wise, jay is smart to just avoid heath.

To me, it could also mean he is coming out with his own supplement line and still not "retired from bodybuilding" through this practice...
