Nasser might be close , he really doesn't do his shots technically either , he tends to hold his arms to high in the front double biceps shot , his side chest is actually more of a side deltoid shot , his front latspread he flexes his abs , his side triceps is he looks narrow because I don't think he bends his knee enough , Dillett couldn't move or hold poses , Nasser held them at least better than Paul did |

Somethings aren't so subjective , you stand two bodybuilders side-by-side , it's not objective who has short legs , a long torso , higher lats and less of a taper , it's not objective to see who is dry & hard and who is holding water and is soft , it's not objective to see is having a problem holding a pose and transitioning from one pose to another without looking awkward , etc
it is a 1+1 = 2 sport when you know what you're looking at . You're to biased to be objective
The subjectivity comes in how much do you penalize one bb vs. the other for not having as detailed of a back or for having torn arms, larger waist, etc. How much do you penalize (or do you even penalize) a bb for not doing the exact same fashion as traditionally others have done it? How much to value additional size over lines, etc. |

Your refusal to admit his back was lacking much more than just detail is why you think it was closer than it actually was. my point of "size vs lines" was discussing Nasser vs Flex as an example. Even Flex magazine implied that when they said comparing them is like apples vs oranges. |

It;s weird because for a guy as big as him he looked shallow in the side poses...and when you see him on video it really shows up how flat he looks from the side ....he had a strange build IMO ........the most unimpressive Huge person you'll ever see. I know i say it as a joke a lot......but his head is too damn big. couple that with the lack of detail and lines, and it's not hard to see why he was never the top dog...there was always somebody better than him. A few people, actually. he was never truly considered a threat for the mr Olympia crown. |

i am a biased yates fan and of course i feel he won all 6 of his titles,without question,but i think of all the fellas in the old guard,nasser came the closest to defeating him,flex and kevin were better genetically,and should have pushed him more,and shawn came closest in the back dept. but nasser seemed to have more heart and drive and once he figured things out,dialed it in and pushed dorian more consistently than the rest.
