Also, it is impossible to tell who has more bodyfat by way of pictures alone.  In order to end this debate, you would need to measure bodyfat levels for both guys in person.  Pictures tell a different story.

I've seen guys with very little vascularity, yet tremendous muscle density, who carry less bodyfat than someone with more apparent vascularity and less muscle mass.

Stavios, maybe you should call GSP,
"1"

I'll call him and I'll punch him in the teeth when I see him

I'll handle the smaller man Chris Cormier style like he did to Mike Tyson  ;D

::)

GSP doesn't have near the muscle mass of a bodybuilder in the first place, nor does he have nearly the same condition of a competing bodybuilder

useless thread, no offense

It doesn't take very long , go to a boxing gym and  you can learn how to punch (technique)  in 5 or 6 months, but that doesn't mean shit when it comes to fighting.

HAHA GSP is looking at the guy talking like he's speaking another language or is from another planet.  These MMA guys are not the brightest athletes around that's for sure.  I'm surprise he can even put to sentences together.  Oops he can't..........."I'll die dab duh, die when I'm.......uh...........die when I sleep yeah that's it.........."           LMAO!  If it wasn't for this guy's dedication and fighting ability in MMA he'd probably be flipping burgers at McD's.

Ok, whatever you say, dude. If you think you are beneath 7.7% bodyfat(GSP's bodyfat) in the pictures you posted, then I can't help you.

SUCKMYMUSCLE

He doesn't need your help.

You still haven't posted one person who has claimed 2 or 3 %

You were incorrect in your original post.  You said "GSP undergoes hydrostatic body composition measurement, the "gold standard" of assessing body fat"
that is wrong on two counts:

a)  The Bod Pod is air displacement NOT hydrostatic.
b)  The Bod Pod is not the "gold standard". Neither is hydrostatic underwater testing.

Even your second post is not entirely correct.  MRI is NOT the gold standard. Dexa scan is.  Magnetic resonance imaging is not the same thing as Dual X-ray Absorptiometry.
Honestly, who cares.  He's leaner than both of us.

ha ha suckmanmuscle the resident genius made once again to look the fool.

Completely irrelevant. We are talking about the amount of bodyfat relative to lean body mass. The total amount of muscle mass here is irrelvant.

Muscle mass is completely relevant.  Having relatively more muscle will mean the ratio of muscle to other tissues (such as bone, connective, etc) will be higher.  That's why two people 250 lb at 25% bodyfat will look completely different if one is 5'8" and very muscular and the other is 6' and just a fat slob.

edit:  you're fucking stupid as hell, the only thing that is impressive about you is that you have learned to use a computer despite your IQ of 60.

No, muscle mass is completely irrelevant, and I am going to explain to you why. A percentage of bodyfat is a ratio between the amount of lean body tissue you have and subcutaneous fat. So if you weight 250 lbs at 7% bodyfat, you will have more total fat than a guy who weights 170 lbs at 7% bodyfat, but the proportion(ratio) of fat-to-muscle between the two guys will be the same, and this is what matters. They will look equally lean and show more or less the same degree of muscle definition - the difference being caused by subcutaneous water and genetics. So once again, I am right and you guys are wrong. ;)

I wasn't wrong about anything besides mistaking the dexa-scan for the MRI. Which is completely redundant and digressing from the topic of the thread. I wasn't wrong about anything else, and if you f.aggots weren't so obviously dense, you would have understood my explanation already.
