But in reality, those three places have thier own government, their own passport, thier own political system and economic system. Although people from mainland china have been educated by the one cchina policy, they still cannot travel to those three places by their will without a special pass and a passport, especially to taiwan.

but I do agree with you on chinese government's iron fist policy to protect its one china policy in the near future. I also doubt US government really would send troops and fleet to Taiwan to fight with chinese.

Hong Kong is as much a part of China as say Puerto Rico is of the USA, yes China and USA are the parent countries, but Puerto Rico is not a state in the USA, Hong Kong is not a province in China.
