I destroyed my left quad/knee in July 2010, had surgery, almost died, months of painful PT to learn to walk again and I trained legs twice last week. That said, you're right....it ain't nothin but an excuse.
doing 4x25 reps is kind of pointless, it's almost like you do warm up sets after warm up sets. Rather do 25 reps untill hard, that kind of intensity with a weight ratio decant to your own bodyweight will give you results.

There is no excuses for not training legs. I have 2 slipped discs occured early in my bodybuilding career. Didnt really treat it but with total mental focus and believe in oneself, i managed to build a pretty decent pair of wheels. So no EXCUSES!! Train legs in your next workout. Try wearing shorts in the public if you have good legs and see if the gals look at your arms or legs and butt first. Trust me!
you dont need big legs to look good but you cant have sticks either. i have two bum knees and have only been doign extensions for the past 5 months and my quads look decent. less mass on the upper quad but more definition down by the knee.
