You are a simpleton. Let me see the pure karate guy in an MMA fight. He would get beaten quickly. MMA stands for Mixed martial arts. Bruce Lee has said in effect that he takes the best from each martial art. That is what MMA is. What is a real world fight? Is it where a guy takes a baseball bat to the back of your head when you aren't looking? Or when someone sticks you with a blade? How is a MMA guy at a disadvantage in a real world fight with no weapons?
Does anyone actually read, and with comprehension, posts 'round these parts?
And you call me a simpleton. Sheesh.

I agree: in an MMA sport fight, as it exists today, the Karate student would suffer the loss. But when did I suggest otherwise?
Bruce Lee's eventual accumulation of best-bits wouldn't classify as what is referred to today as MMA. Hope this helps.
A real-world fight would be, say, one guy on the street says some shit to another, passing by. Words are briefly exchanged and then the two men engage in a sudden and violent storm of assault.
Hope this, too, helps.
"How is a MMA guy at a disadvantage in a real world fight with no weapons?"I never suggested this person would be, all things being equal.
Again, it baffles how one so seemingly unable to comprehend simple written words can accuse another of being a simpleton.
Do not embarrass yourself like this again. Take the time to fully understand what you read before you respond with idiotic nonsense.
