Thanks guys for keeping my pops in your prayers. He has recovered physically from his stroke about 80%. He washes the dishes and cuts the grass.

Cognition is slow going though. But its cool because it is going. He does puzzles so he can keep his mind sharp. He has done 2 750 piece puzzles and 2 1000pc puzzles.

But here is the good news. Dad was accepted into this cool clinical trial up in Boston. The trial is 6 months so my parents packed up and moved to Brookline MA this weekend.

He dosent have the diabetes, he just had a massive Stroke that knocked him out cold. I think its from the Smokes...

But either way, i think he is healthier now (vitals ) than before the stroke.

I know Option D has been worried about this for some time. It looks like there is a good amount of light at the end of the tunnel. I hope the transition out east was smooth and all goes well with the recovery.

Sorry to hear man! I hope they come out with some new technology soon to help stroke patients recover better and faster. I see a lot of them throughout the day at work. Some of them get it so bad they can barely do anything by themselves again. It's a really terrible sad thing to see. It can happen so quick to it scares the shit out of me.

Thanks a lot man. I know what you are saying about the activities of victims that suffered strokes. Some just give up. I know my dad wanted to a time or two because he felt helpless. But he has a great attitude, and now its full throttle

And my dad went earlier this month for baseline testing and we could still tell he made some leaps in terms of improvment.. and that was just 1 week. To think that he has a 6 months of intense rehab and therapy, man im excited
