Japan purposely and with full intention, launched an unprovoked, unannounced act of war on Pearl Harbor without any form of notice or formal declaration of war. Since the U.S. was not at war - all 2,500 people killed were innocent civilians.
Nagasaki and Hiroshima were weapons manufacturing cities that were major contributors to supplying the Japanese military. Obviously you're ignoring the warnings the U.S. gave Japan, the citizens of both of those cities, and the option to surrender given to the Japanese government - or you're just retarded.
