Well I am hobbling around on crutches and going crazy with boredom at home. But I am glad the op was finally done. Yes I will recover fully it will take about 12 weeks I believe

I am nearly at the 9 week mark I am pumping iron again and all results seem to indicate that it is a successful surgery.
What they do is harvest tendons from you little toe. Drill a 2 holes in your foot and another through your fibula and they make you a new ankle tendon.

My big issue has been putting on weight due to boredom and inactivity. Hopefully I am in shape again soon

pretty nasty, if it's any consolation my kid recently tore both his quads completely off. the procedure for that is reattachment, and lay for 7 weeks straight before you can move them. he developed 3 blood clots 2 in lungs and 1 in leg and other problems. now for the first time since sept 6 11 he feels half ass. good luck.

it was a bad day, it was raining he wasn't paying attention the dog took off and his legs caught in the ground he flew about twenty feet and came up with two completely torn quads. first thing out of the doctors mouth were are you useing steroids. he doesn't. his weight from 230 to 189 when he developed the blood clots in his lungs. that's the power of a husky when excited...
