I will let the fructose corn syrup, but you should rephrase the carbs part.
carbs of course are a necessary part of nutrition, but for pure muscle building you must have protein
simple logic chain:
muscle cannot be formed without protein
protein by definition contains amine groups
amine groups by definition have nitrogen
carbs do NOT have nitrogen they are made from carbon hydrogen and oxygen
matter cannot be created or destroyed (other than by nuclear fission/fusion or matter/antimatter annihilation)
so it is impossible to 'make' nitrogen in your body
therefore muscle cannot be made from carbs
remember trying to make other elements chiefly gold is what alchemy was all about LOL
now carbs can be used for fuel thus sparing muscle tissue, carbs also are stored in muscle as glycogen which makes them full. - but these things are not creating new muscle tissue
the point of all this is in response to tshits statement of eating junk food - usually junk food is protein deficient thus my explanation
