Draper was great for the early 1960`s but had lots of weak points.

He looked cool though,and trained hard.................... .heard he was a very quiet and humble kid back then.

I never understood why Draper wasn't bigger in terms of celebrity and status in the bodybuilding world....I guess he didn't have the drive and killer instinct like Arnold

He was very popular in the early 1960`s.....did tons of ads in the Weider mags for almost no pay.

Then Larry Scott,Oliva,Zane,and Arnold came along and from what I hear Dave drank and did a lot of drugs.....this is most likely what prevented him from winning more contests or improving beyond a certain point.
