Rory has the best shape imo - I think he was better than Bob Paris , those B/W's from the early 90s when he had the long hair are surperb  8) - To me I think Dennis Newman (before his illness) was the last of the "perfect" physiques and Flex before the oil , Flex and Dennis in the early to mid 90s is where BB died.. from those two forward it became a war of bloated mass - disgusting  :-X

Why did guys train barefoot sometimes back then? It seems like there are no possible benefits to doing so

No clue....personally,I never saw anybody do it.

In some old articles you see guys training in posing briefs and barefoot..........my guess is that they just did this for the photoshoot, or were really really gay!!  :)

Because they feel that they can grip the floor better during squats and deads..That and they would usually go from the beach to the gym at the old golds at venice.
