depends on conditioning,structure and size was there,shape too,never had chance to mature as pro like kev,ray,wheeler,ect,,lone show was 7th at ironman i think 97 he looked good a bit soft ,he was 3 yrs from usa prime so i think he layed off going all out.

imo, dennis newman had one of the best physiques in bbing history.

the kind of physique that you could strive for and be proud to have, not some overly juiced up abomination. everything had proportion, balance and size.

looked unreal the year he won the USA's.

i've been training for what seems like forever and will never come close to having his physique, but im never going to stop trying.

usa's win right here,,,,he looked awesome...i had some older pics from early 20's il find them,he did come on quick so he ramped up dose to move up quick,,but ur right no one had cool build/look.

Perfect structure, proportions, shape, full bellies, small joints, carried a lot of size with flow and one can see him getting bigger while staying tight. Also very markeatable look

Only thing, as NJ said, is could he bring it all together

How often do you see height, structure, chest , delts, arms, back, lower body, all great, no flaws

Incredible genes for bbing. Then again, we all said the same of Mendenhall...

That Ferrigno shot is from the 73 Mr. Universe. I think that might have been his best shape ever. Yes, he got bigger in the 93-94 comeback on the Gh and modern drugs..but his waist got thicker . In 74 he was smoother at the the Universe and he lost size at the 74 Olympia. In 75 he was smooth in Pretoria, so i think 73 was his best year.
