conditioning yeah,but mentzer looks a tad bigger and esp legs,robbie has great overall look and waist ,mentzer was blocky but thick build,tossup.robbie hung in there longer even with politics ,mentzer was pissed after 80 mro and said fuk u to pro bbing.

I always liked mentzer a lot.
I was shocked when i saw his movie about HIT. He was 48 or something yet he moved around like he was 80 or more. Even the way he talked, it was like he was going to fade the next second. Damn! that's aging fast!

i think he smoked alot and just gave up,,smart in terms of training tho.

I met him at the entrance to Gold's in 1994- I shook his hand, told him I though I'd never get to meet him, etc... He asked me if I smoked (!!!) I said "of course not, who the hell would if you're trying to be healthy"?
He said back "well I love to smoke" and lit up right there outside the entrance.
Absolutely blew my mind...

P.S.  100% true story, never got to meet any pros except Mike Mentzer, Dennis Tinerino, and Boyer Coe.

I knew a guy who went to a Mentzer lecture thingy, and he came away so disillusioned. I mean, Mentzer and his methodology meant everything to this guy, and he said Mike was dismissive to the audience, and hinted that he was, er, not sober.    :-\
