This is indeed big...My considered opinion is that this won't mean that Einstein is "wrong" and Relativity is Mosquito Frass...I think that it will be discovered that Relativity is a subset of something bigger...Just as Newtonian Mechanics is a subset of Relativity...

Relativity has been verified by much experience and it is true
Relativity was assumed the existence of subatomic particles whose speed exceeds the speed of light and satisfying the equations.
The discovery may help to understand the behavior of particles in space and time to advance the string theory

Got a medical degree plus one in biology. I have some basic knowledge about physics, enough to interpret the impact of these findings...it's been a long time since a Law of Physics was challenged like this. And I agree it must be the start of an overall theory, Newton/Einstein-plus. I always thought that would happen some day, but I feel good it happens during my prime....

Einstein was the last to take over so he crossed the finish line , and everyone sees it as win ... Poincaré was the father of relativity and one of the first to apply modern mathematics (topology) in physics. If a physicist getbigger can approve that?
