hahah, you're dreaming. Registered nurses can make 80K+ a year and a Nurse Practicioner can make 100K+ a year. My friend has her BA in nursing and she started off with 75K a year. Your stats are CLEARLY wrong. |

Nursing school will be coming fast and thats my ticket out of this shit hole. I did the same and just to motivate you, it works. You'll get out of it !!! Nursing can be boring sometimes to learn with the ''caring'' theme they emphasize on in school, but when you're at the hospital it's a lot of fun. Lots of pharmacology, nutrition, orthopedics/skeletal-muscular system, etc... I know your buddy is now a nurse, but if you have any question it will be my pleasure to help.

in nyc nurses start around 60k/yr i think, or maybe more, if u get an advanced degree u make 100k+
