Feel sad for Sonny Schmidt.  Guy placed lower at each suceeding Olympia. Eventually had to move back to Aussie land or Samoa when Weider cut his contract.  The guy was a full time bodybuilder, training like 8hrs a day or some crazy shit like that.  Then finally he wins the masters Olympia only to have Vince Taylor mess him up the year after.

I'd rather look like a 5'11 Haney with smaller arms and perfect everything else in 91 vs. 5'10 Ronnie with weird abs and shitty calves.
At around the same weight.  Both around the same weight Haney's 91 and Ronnie's 98.

Yeah, thats his best look IMHO, gyno is BAD and distracting as hell though.
Ronnie is the freak of all freaks, but his structure, abs, and balance issues (calves) bother me.
Thats why Im a bigger fan of Doz, but no one had more muscle on his frame than the Ronster.

Haney's front relaxed and front double bicep shot had him winning the show before he even turned around. And although Yates back looked real good in 91, it didn't compare to Haney's. Haney's genetics were light years ahead on anyone on the stage. It would have been interesting if Haney decided to keep going a few more years and took the drugs that Dorian was using. Although it would have been sad to see Haney grow a massive gut.

Yeah, I think Haney did exactly the right thing, retired on top instead of letting all his fans watch his slow fall from grace. He saw Doz was willing to go places he probably wasnt, and retired rather than played someone elses game.
