Im surprised you dont hear of people getting hurt from doing crossfit more often.
I havent seen a more moronic fitness fad in my life.
They get hurt daily. Crossfit has the highest rate of injuries out any program out there, back, wrists, knees, shoulders, rhabdo (bad shit right there).

that's probably because crossfit people are generally untrained to start with. and then go straight to do advance strongman lifts that requires a good base physique and technique. hilarious how they think they are the shit because they do gayfit lol

And ppl are paying $150-200 a month for this crap! If they only understood that just because they sweat alot doesnt mean that its an effective workout.

P90X or whatever the fuck it`s called, is another shitty fad. If people just did a bit of research and learned how to construct a training routine, diet, and cardio plan, they wouldn`t have to buy into all this fad gimmicky bullshit.

Hate on Crossfit all you want (I have no idea what it is) I just notice that most of the pics of the girls doing "Crossfit" are in better shape than 90% of Getbig.

that's fucking retarded. I don't have shit for certification anywhere, but I could teach all those fuckers to clean and press in a much more safe manner than what they were showing...with or without the hand switch. I can't believe people pay for this shit. Just join a normal gym and ask someone there how to do deads and cleans, and youtube the rest. FFS...

Shizzo, that's the problem. There is no definition. Go to the crossfit website and click the link that says "what is crossfit" its vague at best.

"Drop low Jezz and spread those meaty cheeks!"
What a bunch of lunatics - their shoulders, knees and spine are in for a treat. On the positive side this is awesomely entertaining, so more power to them.

Why do people feel the need to identify with one type of training program as their thing?
Sounds like a cult to me.

From the crossfit site.....
Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.
