I don't know what the big deal is. Bush was happy they had a reason to go after Saddam, that's not saying he was happy 9/11 happened. Bush wanted to go into Iraq before Afghanistan. The neoconservatives from his admin wrote before 9/11 that they needed something like this to happen before they could get done the things they wanted to do. People from the Bush admin have come out describing the president as having walleye vision in regards to going after Saddam.

Paul might not have picked the best words for what he wanted to say but I don't think this is reason to flip out and not vote for him.

Can someone please give me a reasonable reason why rp thinks attacking fellow repubs is a better strategy than attacking obama in light of the fact that newt rose to the top solely focusing on attacking obama?

I dont love his foreign policy except for two things: Ending all aid, and letting Israel take the gloves off

Im not crazy about his isolationism or his idiotic views on national defense

However, all the candidates have flaws-- and I agree with his economic views 100%, I agree with his social views across the board and I agree with maybe 50% of his foreign policy.

No other candidate from our side gets those approvals from me. By default, he's the man I'm supporting.

Our system needs to be changed radically. All that has happened must be undone. He is the man for the job.

If rp thinks that a winning message is to say george bush and co were gleeful on 911 so that they could attack iraq, especially in a gop primary, well I don't want here anyone bitch about him losing. He needs to expand his base of support, not play in to the misgiivings so many have about him.
