theres no one "right" way to pull deadlifts, Louie Simmons even said "the best deadlifters ive seen had the worst "form", look at a guy like Vince Anello, he pulled 800 at 198 almost completely stiff legged, Poundstones "form" is fine for his body.
That's true, Bob Peoples, Don Cudny, Doyle Kenady, Kuc, Cole, Frenn, Konstantin Konstantinovs, Eisman, Terry Todd, Bill Kazmaier, Lamar Gant, Jouko Ahola, Bill Gaynor, etc...... all had different Deadlifting styles than the accepted norm(especially roundbacking), and all pulled bigger numbers.
Try to learn accepted form, but at the end of the day, use what feels best.
