Bad.  But his presidency really has to be judged in a historical context, so I think it's way too early to tell if it can be considered the worst.

He's certainly not good.

Bad.  Will compete for worst ever by the time it is all said and done.  Inherited a mess and made it worse.  Much worse.

When you start adding bad on top of the last bad and that's been going on for a while then yea, he's the worst but he's not behind everything that made him the worst.  We need a president that's going to actually put a hault to the bullshit.  We don't need worse than Obama, we need Ron Paul.

I just dont get this statement..

If we were in a declared recession (by definition) when he took over... and we are out of the recession (by definition)  right now,
Just how is it "much worse"..

This is a question for Beach

You're still hanging on that, eh?

Is this country better off than it was before Obama? That's a definitive no.

You're welcome to hang onto that meaningless definition of a recession, too. We're in a depression and U6 in excess of 18% tells me most Americans don't care about what you want to call it.

3333 i didn't ask you as i knew you wouldn't have the brain power to discuss this in your own terms. So please explain in your own terms how Obama Deepened the declared recession to make it further a declared recession or shut the absolute fuck up.

I simply laugh out loud at posts like that.   It takes a seriously demented fool to not grasp how much worse off we are right now.

Labor force particpation rate, aggreagate labor pool, amounts on social assistance, amounts in the U^, amounts who dropped off the radar, dramatically lower birth rate, et al.

Only a delusional obamabot thinks that is ok.  They are a sad pathetic reflection of just how ignorant and incompetent the general population is.

333 seems to believe that when Obama got in office he was given a clean slate

he did not have to pay the interest on the debt accumulated by his predecessors

he did not have to continue the wars, bailouts, etc.. started by his predecessors

he didn't have to deal with a crashing GDP (much worse than we even knew at the time) or hemorrhaging unemployment

None of the actions of the prior 30 years are baked into the #'s

It all belongs to Obama

That's 333 Economics

And tell me how the recession isn't to blame for the unemployment but Obama is. Like i said. Im all for attributing his mistakes to him. But what i refuse to do is take a mob mentality and pile on unsubstantiated bullshit.

Obama care is pure shit
Gitmo is still open
Being a bitch about the tax breaks

But i cant say he did anything that the natural course of a recession didn't cause.

Then why arent we in a declared recession..
its simple

if he came in.. and we were in a recession... like a declared one by the people who determine such things
if we were worse, we would be in a deeper recession as declared by the people who determine it..

What is the natural course in terms of duration of time  of a recession that began on 2008.

Obama and his lackeys have perpetuated the current economic environment through their actions, thus they are being held accountable.
