Dont know the story. But I would bet it is all lies. Actors ask and demand for a shitload of money all the time. Hell if that was the case, Vin Diesel and Keanu Reeves wouldn't make any more movies.

lol, do you know hollywood made movies before you were born?  Stallon is definitely not hollywood, not one person can claim they are all hollywood or made it.  Stallon made action flicks, that is all.

Van dam aged gracefully, stallon looked like a freak after he got all those surgery's, still he doesn't look natural, van dam looks regular like a decent aging man.
