How bad is Marijuana?

Recently, I found out that two relatives of mine smoke marijuana for relaxation purposes.

To those of you who smoke or eat marijuana (via cookies or brownies), what have your experiences been?

The two relatives live in Colorado and supposedly it's legal there (I'm not sure if that's true).

Have the testosterone lowering effects been proven or is that broscience?

for me, I have, honestly, only smoked pot 3 times in my life.  I wasn't a avid smoker by any means so it didn't act as any sort of "Gateway" to any of the really hardcore drugs that I would abuse badly

For me, it ehances my perception. It makes me stop and look at my life from a different perspective. Its a definately a trip. It takes some time to get over the paranoid/self conscious phase. It enhances everything! Music/movies/food/sex/nature. But like everything else in life you need to do it in moderation. Atleast for me. I've even lifted on weed, baked out of my mind, Ipod jamming, most ridiculous mind/muscle connection ever.

I think that supposed logic is highly flawed.  One can argue that any type of drug is a gateway for another type of drug.

Be it cigarettes to cocaine or alcohol to PCP, there is no establish rule with regards to what serves as the starting point.
