I do agree, they both pandered.  However, showing anothers scum-baggery doesn't take away from Newt's scummy-ness.   Also, indulging a crowd and faking/inducing a cry are different in my mind.

Why?   Both are doing it for the same exact reason.   Difference is that I will say Newt was a phoney and should be ashamed of himself for pandering to women like that, but leftists like Lurker and Chad et al will NEVER admit to the obvious shit for their political favs.

Indulging a crowd and inducing a cry are 2 different things IMO, something politicians do all the time in many other ways.  They are both pandering, but inducing crying is creepy and borderline psychotic.    But what do you expect from a serial adulter?
