Hi guys I am over weight and need help losing fat.   I weigh about 290lbs and my body fat is around 20 percent.   I am over 6 feet tall.   I know you guys are gonna make fun, However could really use some serious info.  thank you so much happy new year.

Don't look at your Fat loss journey as an "all or nothing" endeavor.

Starving yourself all day, watching motivational youtube clips, "Rocky" soundtrack on the Ipod.......

only to lose it all as the sun sets, a willpower meltdown followed by a vampirc midnight feast of delicious junk food.  

Slow and steady progress. Portion Control. Think long term. In six months you'll be living in a different body.

I have never really over eaten I eat a english muffin and some fruit for breakfast with a tea,  lunch is usually fruit and dinner is usually very sensible I really do not eat very much at all.     I use to lift a lot when I was younger.  Now I just want to get cut and lean.

Why do all you fat asses allways say how you "used to lift and do sports.." apply that knowledge and spirit to your present physical condition, eh?

I mean why are you even asking?! just low carbs, 150g for you a day. low/medium 1500kcal for you a day and 150g-200g of protein a day. Cardio one hour a day, 4 days a week. Swimming and or walking fast. When you drop to 230lbs you can start jogging in addition to swimming.

Basic = best , especially when you only want to get lean.

its not bad to diet to single digits on low dosage of hormones and then go off and more or less keep eating clean.

He's just looking for hugs and answers like; "The only way is the easy way and that's drugs". fat pieces of shit never want to hear; "train, eat less, do cardio"... noooo no no they want to hear like; "train like shit, eat whatever you want moderatly and use drugs"  ::)

Either start dieting and doing cardio or don't do it at all. He will just collapse mentally. Are you even reading what he types  ::) , he used to do sports, used to be in deceant condition... he doesn't want to do that anymore because he is lazy and dead inside.

If you want to look good then training is the key, HARD TRAINING, but if you just want to lose weight and look a little bit better, then you can stick with "diet"

In my experience, hard training is key (of course I'm talking about natural trainers)
