Flex all time best shape was Ironman Arnold 93, he was around 219lbs and besides yates 93 would have beaten anyone, yates 93 has never been beaten, but Flex 93 Ironman arnold was a good second,he never found close to that shape again.

Flex was a very different bodybuilder when DRY. That seemed to be the biggest thing for him- could he get dry? A dry to the bone flex wheeler NEVER lost. His natural genetic shape was just hard to imagine, hard to see, he had to be bone dry to get the full effect. When he was on, he was top 3 all time easily. Not for size, not for mass, but for the perfect balance of everything all at once, including a flow to his body that no one has ever been able to come close to. One in a billion genetics, as has been said.

He was dry when he was lighter...anything above 220, and he was hit or miss (97 Arnold he was 224, and still had watery lower back, glutes, and hams)

Flex 93 as everyone says, was something else

But the jump he made from his 89/90 shape to 93 was incredible, the back, legs, tight waist, huge delts and arms, good chest. Striated striations!

True, but as I said, Flex was much better in his rookie year. He did get a little bigger (I don't believe for a second all that bullshit about him adding 30+ lbs.), but he lost a shitload of cuts in the process.

yeah, his arms and delts were so oiled up they looked awful by that point.

in 1993 he was unreal and would have been Mr. O. had he dialed it in for the Olympia that year.

he was noticably down in conditioning at the 93 O. as compared to the 1993 Arnold Classic

89/90 flex as stated was good but still green,,,when he won the usa in 92 it might have been one of the best national level amateur builds to get on stage,,his side chest shot from that show was sick ,,his hamstrings went from his side knee all the way up like tom princes ,,he had pro polish on stage then and well 93 rest is history.

I have that show on VHS..............he looked damn near perfect.
