I remember when I trained mid-mornings at my one gym.
The old folks would arrive a good 30-45 min before their SS class started, and would congregate on the benches and machines.
Some of them would actually try to use some of the cable stuff.
Once, my buddy was doing fairly heavy leg presses when one of the seniors walked over, stood next to the sled, and asked how much weight that was. He was in the middle of his set; his face was all red, cheeks blown up from breathing like a steam engine, sweat almost projecting from his pores...and this old lady is trying to make small talk!
My friend answered her question after racking, and we just laughed about the whole thing later on.
We were always serious about our training, but none of that stuff ever bothered us.
