You're suppose to expand your rib cage like Yates is doing.

In fact, you're suppose to expand your rib cage in nearly all poses. Look how the old school guys do it properly. Yates was a perfect poser.

Nasser was a terrible poser. Not to mention he injected SYNTHOL intho his muscles. That alone disqualifies him from ever being a Mr. Olympia, let alone one of the greats. Using SYNTHOL is as pathetic as it gets. It's a disgrace and a slap to the face of bodybuilding.

Dorian is 30lbs lighter and looks the same size

Why do you turn every Dorian-related thread into a comparison with Ronnie? If Ronnie is the GOAT (which I think he is in at least some respects), that speaks for itself. Interrupting every other comparison of Yates with "oh, Ronnie's even better" is ... well, curious.

FWIW, Doz stacks up very well with Ronnie in that pic. Ronnie's biceps look better, naturally, but the two men aren't even hitting the pose in the same way. Dorian is emphasizing his pec thickness, scapula slightly retracted, while Ronnie is crunching down to bring out as much size in his delts and arms as possible.

Given the cherry-picked examples you posted, no, Dorian doesn't come close to prime Ronnie. As a matter of fact, that '95 Olympia side-chest shot of Doz beats Ronster with room to spare. Ronnie had some of the best pecs of all-time, but just look at how Yates' chest was at least as striated with deep cuts from sternum to clavicles. Moreover, Yates executes the pose in the more classic sense. Ronnie is doing the pose as Arnold chided Franco: "Vhad ist dis bullshidt? No, not frondt chest, Franco, SIDE! Yah, tings chancge a vwiddle bid vwhen you turn do de side, ha ha ha."

Front relaxed? Oh, Ronnie in the '01 ASC takes that, and then some. But then, to reduce a contest to "best front relaxed" is kind of chickenshit, nay?

In both their primes, Ronnie/Dorian would have been VERY close. People who pretend otherwise need to take the next shuttle to Mars, Sedna or whatever the fuck, because their brains are already as far removed from Earth as your healthy local schizo

even his missing bi is apparent in that pose. look at the left arm. its pathetic.

striations everywhere with better shape to boot. full round muscle bellies.

dorian does win the pose from the knees down, but what else is new..

yates doesnt look bigger than levrone here because his size is concentrated on his back which cannot be seen in this shot!!..

at his best dorian was a phenomenal bb but still his back kinda overpowered the rest of him.. his chest/shoulders/arms were smaller than many guys who were much lighter than him!!..
