as i mentioned he started lifting in a garage with some hand made weights like the bar in this pic. to place 4th in the world championship!!..
his first gold medal was in 1987 and his last was in 2007!!.. great arab genetics human grade gear....
He started taking steroids in his garage too
yes,I recall you mentioning that. I believe it was in this thread, although it was a few posts ago
yes but the second time is illustrated
one of the best amateur bbs ever.. ..
Attention to detail Serious question, is mabrouk state sponsored? He chose to remain amateur, do they look after him?I know in some arab countries they respect and treat bbers well
hardly...maybe in terms of his record...but definitely not his physique.
he turned pro. in the 80s and tried his luck but didnt place well so returned again to the amateur world ..and no he was never really sponsored.. egyptian bbs are some of the best in the amateur world but it's very hard for them to continue to the pro. level without real support..
do you know what he does for a living?
Good stuffWithin a weight division he always did well, but made the smart choice, as he realized in an open contest there was little chance of success
mabrouk is one of the worst physique of all time who became ifbb world champion.half of the time he was just rewarded.
so according to you he didnt deserve to win at least half his victories,.. right??.. even if this is true (which is not) you still see him deserving the other half.. so how come to consider him one of the worst to win while you see him deserving at least 5 golden medals at least put some sense..
He looks like absolute ShahatHTH
Insulin was not his friend...
