Members of an Atlanta street gang were filmed beating a man who was brutally assaulted because “guys” were not allowed in their neighborhood, according to a videotape of the apparent hate crime.

The 30-second clip, posted today to the Worldstar Hip Hop web site, was shot outside a grocery store in Atlanta’s Pittsburgh neighborhood. The business, located at 1029 McDaniel Street SW, is a popular congregating spot for members of the Pittsburgh Jack City Gang (or “PBJC”). The group has also used the name “Jack City 1029.”

After being provided a link to the video, an Atlanta police spokesperson told TSG that the clip had been forwarded to the department’s gang division as well as the unit that investigates bias crimes against the LGBT community. Officer Kim Jones added that she was researching whether a police report was generated at the time of the attack (which investigators believe took place over the weekend).

As seen above, the video opens with an unseen cameraman and a second man outside the grocery store. The second man announces, “Round one. Jack City. No guys.” Then, after a diminutive man exits the grocery, an assailant approaches him from behind and delivers a brutal punch to the side of the victim’s head. The man’s cell phone flies from his hand and he crumples to the ground.

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (WJZ) — Brawls break out at a Maryland mall over shoes. And it’s not the first time shoppers have gone too far for Nikes.

Kai Jackson explains what’s driving the chaos.

The store had more anxious customers than they had sneakers for sale—and that was a recipe for trouble.

Valley Mall in Hagerstown is peaceful now, but a sneaker, Nike’s new Foam tennis shoe, caused near-riot conditions inside the mall on Saturday, like a melee at another mall in December after Nike released a popular pair of Air Jordans.

“Just a fight going on down there at Foot Locker. Arguments; someone said that there was knives pulled,” said mall employee Cassandra Jenkins.

Were you under some illusion that all ethnic groups have the same innate abilities despite being under different selective pressures?
Even in bodybuilding it is pretty much recognized that there are differences between races in structure, tendency to get lean, etc.
Aside from being obvious, there's a lot of books that have been written on the gap in average intelligence between different races--written by top level academics.

But of course there are highly intelligent and genius people of African descent (Obama, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Thomas Sowell), and intelligence tends to gravitate towards intelligence. So what will probably happen is there will become a divide between a highly intelligent black elite, and a larger black population that tends to be below average in intelligence, and violence prone due to high test/low intellect.

They would look the same outwardly, but be a different race of people. The same way Jews all came from the same stock originally, but due to selective pressures, mixing, and finally inbreeding, the Ashkenazi became the most intelligent ethnic group there is. But if you look at their native brethren in Israel, they're not much smarter or different than any Arab.

Look it up yourself and form your own conclusion.
They've done a tons of scientific double blind studies. They just test the IQs, and guess what? There's a racial gap every time this is done.

I'll admit that on first glance that there might be some validity to your claim about intelligence varying among groups. Although the whole 'science' about intelligence and race rest on dubious foundations. Drawing any further conclusions about the social destiny of an ethnic group based only on their genetic predisposition for intelligence according to these studies, is walking on very thin ice.

When you say race, do you mean it in the american sense of the word or do you actually believe that there are separate human races? You mention stuff like selective breeding and eugenics which makes me wonder where you're coming from on the political spectrum, if that is a factor to you at all.

Lubbock teen arrested for trafficking underage girl

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock teenager is accused of posting online advertisements and forcing an underage girl into prostitution. According to court documents, Markee Toliver, 19, is facing three felony charges of knowingly employing a child who was under the age of 18 to engage in sexual conduct, causing a person under the age of 18 to commit prostitution, and trafficking of a person who is under the age of 18 into forced labor (sexual performance of a child).

Toliver was caught through an undercover sting operation this week, conducted by the Lubbock Police Department. Investigators say they tracked him down through an online website, where they found ads offering up escort services by a woman who said she was 20 years old.

Officer called the number in the ad and made arrangements to meet the escort at the Red Roof Inn on I-27.

"Set up a time to meet, get together and once they did get together, there was an offer made of money in exchange for sex," Sgt. Jonathan Stewart with the Lubbock Police Department said.

During that encounter, officers learned the 20 year old escort was actually on 17 years old. Court documents say they also learned she was working for Toliver. Toliver was then arrested in the parking lot of the hotel.

"We do have prostitution that takes place in Lubbock and we do make arrests on it on a fairly routine basis, so it's something that is present in Lubbock," Stewart said.

Stewart says underage prostitution is nothing new to the Lubbock area and that new technology is making it easier to advertise.

"Of course, this is the internet online age, and this has become a very popular way for people who are engaged in this type of activity to advertise their services," Stewart said.

Stewart says his department takes these types of crimes very seriously.

"Of course, when we see underage victims involved in this type of thing, that does strike a nerve. I think with anybody who would see that and I think that is something we especially want to try and eradicate," Stewart said.

Toliver remains in the Lubbock County jail with a bond set at $50,000.
