1800 show up to hear Paul @ King County

Talked to similar sized groups for the last few days. Some venues had to turn people away over safety issues, (too packed.)

BOISE, Idaho – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul draw a remarkable crowd of more than 1,350 supporters and undecided voters in Twin Falls, Idaho today. It was the first of many events comprising a three-day, multi-stop visit to the key caucus states of Idaho and Washington.

The 12-term Congressman from Texas launched his three-day Pacific Northwest visit with a town hall meeting held at 12:00 p.m. MST in the Roper Auditorium of Twin Falls Senior High School, located at 1615 Filer Avenue East, Twin Falls, ID 83301

Same here.  Rather not get specific about it though but its no wonder we share the same views. lol Something is different here, Paul should do really well, I hope.  Unfortunatly, I have some projects to finish and couldnt see him but I heard RP might be coming back March 3. Id  like to get a chance to see him then if possible.

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul may not have won a state primary yet, but he remains a favorite to win Spokane County.

A standing-room-only crowd of about 2,300 shouted their support for Paul during his 45-minute speech Friday evening at the Spokane Convention Center.

Paul is the second Republican presidential candidate to visit the Inland Northwest this week as Washington and Idaho prepare for their presidential caucuses early next month. Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum spoke to about 600 supporters in Coeur d’Alene on Tuesday.

It really seems you're trying to do an early set up for a CT.

Nothing wrong with being prepared for the inevitable.  ;D

Weather you like to admit it or not, there is a huge GOP establishment opposition to Paul. I mean, the GOP flat out said they would "not let him win", and there has been all kinds of questionable activities during the caucuses.

Definatley corruption going on, weather its bad enough to make Paul lose , I dont know, but I have no doubt that they'll keep there promise if he ever did start winning states.

::)

The word is "whether".

First, actual attendance at a caucus is typically a minute fraction of the overall party members.  It would  be no surprise if 1/10 or less of those people at the rally actually showed up to caucus.

Second, it's Idaho's first Republican caucus.

Things will go wrong.  Not "if", not maybe, not possibly - things will go wrong.

And the second it doesn't favor RP - EVERYTHING about it will be CT.

Any real corruption, such as votes not matching the official figures should be investigated - I don't think anybody would argue that.

As to the party itself, I've already stated that they probably don't support him, though I doubt they're actively opposed to him (as a whole, not as individuals).

Of course, if RP doesn't get the nomination, he's not going to support the party candidate.  To expect them to have any love for RP is political naivety.

I'm sorry grammar Nazi,.my phones auto spellcheck function hates you and me both. It's infuriating.

If you didn't get my post, I said I don't believe that he's losing the votes because of fraud. As you said caucus turnout is only a fraction of people that vote. And in Pauls case.they're more revise.idealists who want change rather than Joe sixpack.

My point was, and the point you constantly ignore or gloss over, is that.the GOP heads flat out said they would not allow.Paul to win. Why do you keep ignoring that?
I don't believe that's why he's.losing now. But if/when he starts winning states, (yes, a big if) I have no doubt they'll follow.up. why wouldn't they, if they already told us they wouldn't allow him to win?

Because you can't back it up.  I'm guessing you've got one, maybe two clips, probably of some head saying they don't see it happening or some such thing and you've decided to translate that into something stupid.

Now, as you've decided to make it plural - let's see the evidence of the GOP heads saying they "won't allow" RP to win.

Smart money says you've got some retarded interpretation that you want spin.

Let me guess already - Those not agreeing with your interpretation can't think for themselves, are sheeple, are blind, just don't want to see the truth.  Yep, haven't heard these CT before - ::)

It was in an article posting by Howard, I believe.
Let me go find it.
I took it at face value. We'll leave it at GOP head then, single.
I may be wrong, but pretty sure it said "we will not allow him to win".

Look, you seem to want me to be some sort of Paultard Zealot (which, yes Im a bit of an alarmist and I do feel Paul is being treated extremely unfairly, considering hes the only one out there who has what it takes to get things back on track economically).

Im a realist - I dont see Paul winning the nomination, not due to CT, but due to lack of support. (Primarily IMHO due to media bias and lack of support from his party).

You, for some reason, seem extremely pissed off at anyone that feels that Paul is being pushed to the sidelines unfairly (of which there are literally dozens of examples supporting this) - or that the GOP establishment is extremely opposed to Paul winning and will do whatever it takes to ensure his loss.

I dont understand why you get so upset at the thought that the GOP is treating Paul unfairly, but yet again, here you are freaking out at the idea that theyre committed to his losing. Why does it piss you off so much to think that they will do whatever they can to make sure he doesnt win?

(Which, like I said before, they probably wont have to do anything illegal as the media alone pretty much has his loss assured.)

You know what? You were right, I was wrong. It was a Repub strategist talking about how it wont matter if he wins the Iowa Caucus because Paul wont win and they'd be throwing their vote away.

Here's the vid and the thread.

http://www.breitbart.tv/republican-strategist-iowa-gop-will-not-allow-paul-to-win/
http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=408193.0

So yes, you're right, its not the GOP establishment telling us that they wont allow them to live, its the MSM telling people they'll be wasting their vote if they vote for him.

Not that I want to give credence to your idea that Paul isn't being excluded, but I was wrong.

I still feel very strongly that Paul has the deck stacked against him, and that they do everything they can to make sure he looks like shit in the public eye.
Still doesn't do anthing to discount the questionable things going on with the some of the caucuses though. (Only one that makes a difference is the Maine caucuses though, where Paul was withing striking distance, the others obviously not so much)

No.

Just impressed with the turn outs.

Not so impressed that it hasnt translated to votes and a win though.

Im not fooling myself. Even if there was no fraud,  I know that mainstream has a ways to go before they adopt what Paul purposes in numbers that matter.
