i'm kind of tired of this discussion...

it you do not understand the nutritional difference between 500 calories of plain chicken breast and 500 calories of processed, low fat chicken sandwich meat there's very little I can do for you

im not saying its "healthier" or has more "nutritional value". so you think if both have 30g protein, the non processed will build more muscle? not looking to be a prick bro, im not saying its healthier to eat shit all day lol. of course i wouldnt recommend that. alls im saying is from a muscle building/fat loss stand point cals in vs out is all that matters. where the gurus/vets be at?!

no doubt man. i dont think one should base his diet around hot dogs for his  protein source lmao, rather if he eats one, or two that it will be just fine. let me make it clear/rephrase it....eat quality protein sources more than non quality lol.

dude... it's the same for carbs and fats... you also need to consider things like sodium content, soluble and non-soluble fiber content, high-glycemic sugar content, trans-fat content, etc... AND the presence of vitamins and minerals and on and on...

yes no doubt, but a can of coke and brown rice as long as they have the same amount of carbs will have the same effect on body composition period, absolutely no difference whatsoever. is the coke as healthy, hell no, but if fat loss/muscle building is your ONLY concern it is just fine

that's not correct... try to drink coke as your only carb source for some time... you'll end up with anemia, diabetics and lot's of fat tissue...
try to eat all your protein need from wheat or rice protein only, compare with high bioavailability protein sources like egg and fish... you can't compare at ALL!!!!

A calorie is just a calorie is for folks looking for an easy way out,or folks that are just lazy with no discipline.
