You do realize the KSM, OBL, and Mullah Omar were being harbored by the Taliban who refused to turn them over to us despite weeks of pleading by GWB right?

I missed that there was an election........no your right..the one where we're going into another recession and gas in 5bucks, good luck lib, with all of that.

The same election that was supposed to change everything and we were supposed to have front row seats to open negotiations on health care reform and everything the government did. So much for that. Well there was change. CHANGE FOR THE WORSE. HIGHER UNEMPLOYMENT, HIGHER AMOUNT OF PEOPLE ON WELFARE, HIGHER FOOD PRICES, HIGHER AMOUNT OF FORECLOSURES, HIGHER AMOUNT OF BANKRUPTCIES AND MORE CORRUPTION AND SECRECY IN GOVERNMENT THAN EVER BEFORE.

hope and change, HEHEEHEHEHHE!!!

The way these idiots act, they almost make it look like Obama rewrote the book on catching terrorists. Tell me what new procedure or tactic did Obama the clown come up with to catch Bin Laden?  HEHEHEHEH!!

OFF TOPIC. ;D

Yeah, takes a lot of courage to say yes to what could be the single most important thing of his presidency when it has been handed to him on a platter by the hard work of others.

Again - did you give GWB credit for catching KSM, the true mastermind of 9/11?

Oh thats right - thugghettopofsbama is the one who tried to ram a civi trial of KSM in NYC over the objections of everyone else.

Analysis: Obama's Afghanistan problem gets worse (Just like Iraq, Obama now losing Afghanistan)
google ^ | 3/11/2012 | ANNE FLAHERTY, Associated Press
Posted on March 11, 2012 8:34:53 PM EDT by tobyhill

President Barack Obama has a PR problem when it comes to Afghanistan, to say the least.

Once the must-fight war for America, the decade-long mission has spiraled into a series of U.S. missteps and violent outbreaks that have left few ardent political supporters. After NATO detained a U.S. soldier Sunday for allegedly killing sleeping Afghan villagers, Republicans and Democrats alike pointed to the stress on troops after years of fighting and reiterated calls to leave by the end of 2014 as promised, if not sooner.

"It's just not a good situation," said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev. "Our troops are under such tremendous pressure in Afghanistan. It's a war like no other war we've been involved in. ... We're moving out, as the president said. I think it's the right thing to do."

Likewise, many Republicans —who as a party fought against a quick exodus in Iraq and criticized Obama's 2008 presidential campaign promise to end the war — are now reluctant to embrace a continued commitment in Afghanistan.

"There's something profoundly wrong with the way we're approaching the whole region, and I think it's going to get substantially worse, not better," said GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich. "I think that we're risking the lives of young men and women in a mission that may, frankly, not be doable."

Karzai blames NATO, U.S. for violence, corruption in Afghanistan
Yahoo! News ^ | 12/6/12 | Olivier Knox, Yahoo! News | The Ticket

Posted on Thursday, December 06, 2012 2:36:29 PM by

Afghan President Hamid Karzai blamed the U.S. and NATO forces on Thursday for some of the violence and the brunt of corruption that is rampant in his war-torn country. Karzai bluntly criticized allied tactics, declaring that terrorists won't be beaten "by attacking Afghan villages and Afghan homes."

Speaking in an exclusive interview with NBC News, Karzai also said he had written a letter to President Barack Obama warning that Afghans will not permit American and NATO troops to stay past 2014 unless the U.S. turns over hundreds of detainees held at Bagram Air Base and a nearby facility.

"I have written to President Obama that the Afghan people will not allow its government to enter into a security agreement while the United States continues to violate Afghan sovereignty," he said. "Part of the insecurity is definitely coming to us from terrorism, and the attacks of the Taliban. Part of the insecurity is coming to us from the structures that NATO and America created in Afghanistan."

NATO-led forces are currently scheduled to withdraw by the end of 2014, but the Obama administration has entered into negotiations with the government in Kabul on a security pact that would allow some as-yet undisclosed number of troops to remain beyond that point. Their mission would be to train Afghan security forces and carry out counterterrorism missions. White House press secretary Jay Carney recently said that Obama has not yet settled on the size of that residual force. The spokesman also suggested that no troops might remain.

National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden confirmed that Obama had received Karzai's letter, but said, "We're not going to discuss the contents." She added that the U.S. and Afghanistan were working out "some remaining issues" regarding the transfer of detainees to Afghan custody. ..
