The other thing that makes no sense is if he was born overseas why would his family make out he was born in Hawaii?

The law was different in 1961. Can't remember specifics (she had to have lived so many years in the U.S. after a specific age), but Ann was not old enough to give baby Obama citizenship if he was not born on U.S. soil. And, U.S. citizenship was a prized thing to have even if you were not planning to run the baby as pres many years later.

What a load of rubbish she had lived her entire 18 years in either Kansas, Washington or Hawaii.

Any kid of hers was American plain and simple.

Her dad was a furniture salesman and mother was still a bank clerk back then they weren't sending her overseas no way no how.

Hate to tell you this but even if Obama was born overseas, he still would have had U.S citizenship.  His mother was from Kansas so he would have had it anyway and would have went on with his life as an attorney and U.S Senator and Governer of Illinois.

There would have to have been conspiracy running from the time of his birth and that's pretty much impossible.

They showed a ton of other stamps from the post office, not one in that same month had a 2 digit stamp, and if it was a 2 digit it would have been centered.

How many stamp examples still exists from 1980 versus how many were sent?  Just because none have been located yet doesn't mean much and is a very weak part of the argument.

Unless you can some how obtain every stamp used in Hawaii in 1980 and show none of them used a 2 digit layout your argument falls flat.

They showed the others and I will wait as more info comes out.    The investogator said they all had 4 digit stamps.

More than one way to forge this thing.   The 2 digit on the stamp does not even look like the normal "80" from that time period

Several, not just 1.

1.  Using 2 digits
2.  Using damaged digits
3.  not centering
4.  doing this understanding as 33333 claims all stamps were 4 digits

If they are savvy enough to change it from USPS to USPO why stop there?  Why open the door to problems by allowing those 4 oversights?

Add that to the fact that's its permissible by the post office, can you, Grape, seriously say there is something to this other than extreme unlikeliness?

Arpaio: Obama's birth certificate was doctored

PHOENIX - Just when it seemed the Barack Obama citizenship flap had faded into the background, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has turned the spotlight back on.

On Thursday Arpaio charged the birth certificate Obama says proves he is a U.S. citizen is a fraud, contending a forensic examination of the electronic document posted last year by the White House proves that it was not simply scanned into a file but actually put together in several pieces.

Mike Zullo, head of the sheriff's Cold Case Posse who headed the investigation, said the inconsistencies in the document cannot be explained away by claims it was optimized or had been scanned with optical character-recognition software.

Zullo also said a separate examination proves Obama's 1980 Selective Service registration also is a fake.

The White House, which thought the issue had been put to sleep with the posting of the birth certificate, had no comment.

While saying the evidence proves that a crime was committed, Arpaio was careful not to implicate the president.

"I'm not accusing anyone of anything until we find out who may have committed these alleged crimes over this birth certificate and the Selective Service card," Arpaio said.

Arpaio brushed aside a question of why he was able to find such evidence when no one else in the country has. The sheriff said he probably was the only one who bothered to investigate in detail.

Zullo also said the fact the Honolulu newspaper had a birth announcement at the time proves nothing, saying the newspaper accepted such messages without requiring proof the person actually had been born in the state.

And Zullo insisted Arpaio has jurisdiction.
