I don't eat oats anymore, but when I used to, I would put them in a magic bullet blender with protein powder and
a banana. Makes them taste pretty good, I never wanted to eat oats any other way after trying that.
Someone already mentioned it, but oats cause inflammation bad... all carbs do, but oats are worse than a lot of
other carbs. I ditched them for that reason. Inflammation = bad health.
Plus, carbs are my favorite macro to eat. I try to blend the stuff I don't enjoy all that much, and actually eat the
food that I enjoy. A nice bowl of potatoes is more fun for me to eat than a shake of oats, and I am still hitting
the same macros.
