State Rep. Mary Franson has apologized and removed a YouTube video that compared Minnesota’s food stamp program to “feed(ing) the animals.”

It started Friday, when Franson, a first-term Republican from Alexandria, posted a week-in-review video on YouTube. She ran through the news about the new state budget forcast and ended with a plea to end child sexual abuse. In between, at about the two-minute mark, she turned to the welfare reform.

“I'll read you this little funny clip that we got from a friend. It says, 'Isn't it ironic that the food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps, ever.

Meanwhile, the Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to please not feed the animals, because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves."

It didn’t take long for the blogosphere to take notice. By 10 p.m. Friday, Franson tweeted an apology: “For those offended at the video, I deeply apologize. I have asked for the video to be taken down ...”

Her video was removed, but copies remain online.

LOL.   never paid for sex.  Ever.   Have a steady GF.   Have tons of friends between the gym, HS, martial arts, professionally, business networking, etc.

What part do you want confirmation of?   

had my martial arts class tonight.   I am 2nd degree, been doing it for years and have tons of friends through that, including gerald celente who goes to our school.

LOL.   Laugh all you want.   I have been training w these guys for years.   so has celente.  Col. Al is a scout sniper in the marines and we get a lot of spec ops guys before deployment as well as law enforcement in class. 

celente mentions us all the tie.

LOL.  We get guys from all over world coming to train w us every month.  Just tonight w had a guy from Denmark who was kick boxing champ come over for a month to train w us.  

We get Marines, Cops, Correction Officers, etc all the time who travel from abroad to train w us.  

we have had SEALS , etc.

Believe what the fuck you want, we get a lot of marines, ARMY et al before deployment to our school.  we get cops, corrections, spec ops, SEALS, marines, etc in our classes who need CQB training before deployment.

They don't need fitness or the gym, they need close quarters combat and brutal hand to hand combat techniques we offer. 


we have a video called KILL or BE KILLED that  is still as good as anything else put there.

No of course not.  The head of our school is a marine scout sniper and Col. In the Marines, has done 4 tours Iraq and Afghanistan since 911, and did a tour in Gulf War 1 as a sniper, but Straw Man knows more!    Got it.
