« on: March 26, 2012, 09:01:11 PM »
Now I know its a good idea to check both, but what's more crucial getting blood work done or keeping on eye on blood pressure?

This is of course assuming you use hormones...discuss

none of that is really crucial if your just doing a little here and there or even really a little always. Ya people have problems from steroids but usually mega abusers and some of them would have had troubles anyways. You havent started the tren yet? shit we only have 70 days tell summer hits.

under a 1gram test always they really can't even prove 400mg of test or so is harmful for longevity. Imo you could prolly run a 1gram for ever and not have that much trouble. tren maybe not. I don't think you realise some of these guys use 3-6 grams of hard adrogens and orals in high dose and don't have that much trouble related to steroids. A lot of the ones that have heart problems occasionaly would have anyways and are 250lbs+ any group of guys in the 230-300lb range will be at risk for cardiovascular system problems steroids or not. You will get an occasionaly guy on the steroids boards that has a heart attack at 40 while at 250lbs bodyweight. That would happen to a % of people anyways.

you could prolly cruise on 400 and blast on 800-1500 and not really run into troubles if not really heavy. A lot of steroid users problems come from other drugs diuretics, pain killers really very few people die from steroids alone. orals can be rough if ran heavy. Your little 300 test 300tren isnt going to do much thats for sure maybe raise bad lipids tell you come off. tren can cause mental sides but in only 50% of users or so and usually its happens south of 300.

yea i dont do any of the additional drugs besides alcohol...but getting hammered 1-2 a week isnt THAT bad is it lol?....im not on orals!

and right now im under a gram a week...i imagine in the future i'll go over that, but i dont see my self ever going over 1.5-2 grams a week

btw didnt you mean the mental sides happens NORTH of 300mg lol? ;D

Get your blood work done,

Blood pressure you can check yourself at home real easy, not worth spending out.

Depends how many holidays you want your doctor to have lol.

I personally get this done after a couple of cycles, so if I had only done 1 cycle that year as long as i'm feeling fine and done correct PCT I won't bother.

lol holidays? and the plan at first was to "cycle" but im now considering cruising after my run with tren at say 200mg test maybe a little more

but i dont foresee myself going crazy with my doses or abusing orals or anything like that

I had blood pressure problems at 500mg/week. That's way too much for me, I get really bloated (my face is all swollen) despite my clean diet and so on. I would imagine that having high blood pressure for longer periods of time is not that healthy.

I bet I wouldn't survive 1 gram, I couldn't handle sides of 700mg so I lowered it down in a half. At 350mg/week of test and ATD (always antiestrogen, even on this dose) I'm drugged to absolutus maximus of what my body can handle.

For fuck sake man, why in the hell would you ask for medical advice on a bodybuilding forum?  Do you really think it's wise?  Do yourself a favor, and go to your local clinic for a annual physical.  It's cheap, quick, and easy.

jesus christ dude, i appreciate people airing on the side of caution and all, but you are ridiculously too much of a lil bitch after you started taking gear.

you have literally started a thread about every normal day to day activity, because your paranoid that something might be different cuz now you take gear

but to answer you, define the word CRUCIAL .

none of thoe are crucial, crucial is something you MUST do. You dont HAVE to do neither one of those. but both are GOOD TO DO.

and to further answer you, you can get a digital BP monitor for $50 or cheaper, and do it 2-3 times a week to monitor your BP levels, but you cant get bloodwork done weekly.

i just started TRT, i posted my lab work on the steroids section, and i will take another bloodwork in 3 months. and i dont monitor my BP, unless i feel my BP is high

yeah thats what this tool does. he has a fucked up answer in his head, he poses the question, and disregards all valid answers until he hears that same fucked up answer that he was looking for and feels better about that fucked up answer, cuz now someone "corroborated" it online

Worrying too much can cause anxiety and can cause your BP to rise so you need to learn to meditate and calm down.  Don't let the anxiety get to you.

Thats like going to a job interview, getting the job and stuff, and your first day at work you start asking your coworkers about the company, and the position you got hired for and what the fuck the company even does !

my point is, before you started jabbing yourself, you shouldve done your homework, so most of the stuff you ask have already been beat to death.

most of the stuff about steroids is just common sense, but the thing is, common sense is not always common practice.  For example, some folks here run 200mg tren ace ED no problem, and they advocate it. and then you have someone like man of steele or something like that , he's taking tren ace 75mg ED or EOD, and he's having panic attacks left and right ( see his thread). so what does common sense dictate to him ? that maybe tren ace is not for him, or he's dosing too high.

and most of your questions are vague or just plain old wierd. Like asking " do you guys wear more black clothes while on gear or lighter color shirts?" ..theres no simple answer to... and now back to your main question, your asking about if BP is more important or bloodwork... well both are. common sense dictates that keeping tabs on your body is a good way to know if your body is in check or not. BW and BP are like a fucking scale, they are just fucking #s which keep you on track. how often do you weight yourself? well ideally it would be good to check your BP and BW as that often too, but thats not what most people do simply because going to a doctor is expensive.

some people dont go to doctor for years, some folks like me get bloodwork done 4 times a year, because of my job and my insurance covers it.

do you see how your questions are lame? your essetially asking " guys, im adding hormones to my body which will pretty much affect all other hormones and levels in my body, is it a good idea to get bloodwork and see if its affecting me too bad"? see how lame that question is?

i hope u dont see it as a flame, but next time think before you post,i dont even respond to most of your threads cuz they questions are so lame

I would go more often than once a year to get a physical if I could. My doctor is a cute female and she likes to check my balls for any signs of a hernia.  :P
