hahah do you go to that gym dp?

Man I wished, but I live in Zuid Holland.
This place was huge, open 24/7, filled with great equipment like a full Hammer line.

Oh, and this nice female instructor :P

Width is genetics.  But seriously posting a pic of a guy with arms 5-6" smaller than Phill doesn't make sense?

Ah yes, the endless debate of overall size/body weight vs. Looks/proportion, or looking like a BB while clothed vs looking average while clothed.

I have noticed that many of the negative comments making fun of clothed, smaller lifters 'not looking like they lift weights' often come
from powerlifter/permabulkers types.
My theory is that these guys either have too hard of a time getting lean, or don't have the discipline to, so they
make fun of those that do.
I notice that a lot of negative comments about huge guys that look big in clothes come from smaller lean guys that probably wish they were bigger.
A lot of the time I hear people say they just look like the Average fat American when wearing normal clothes.

I don't knock anyone for how they decide to go about changing their body, I just think its stupid when people bad mouth anyone without the same goals
as them.

To me, a bodybuilder is anyone who has added a significant amount of lean mass to their frame, whether they are 165 or 285, we all have different genes
and we all start at different places. I also feel that a true bodybuilder has to be lean most of the time, even off season. I don't mean they have to be
shredded, but I do feel that cuts in the muscles should be clear. If not, you just look like a big guy that is strong.

I weigh 215 @ 10-12% at 5'9''. I don't think I look like a bodybuilder in clothes, but I do think people can tell it is quite obvious that I lift weights when I am
shirtless or if I wear a light T-shirt that is not too large. I never wear skin tight stuff, but I don't wear it too loose either.
I have a friend that is an inch shorter, 185lbs @ an honest 8%. He looks a tiny bit thicker clothes, but without a shirt, he would wipe the floor with me or any
other guy I know that weighs 220+.

Bodybuilding is an illusion. I wish I was more like my friend..... looking jacked as hell with a low bodyweight.

Yes, very sad! It happened in Sept last year, right before his home. One motive could be his publication (S&F mag) about messy UG labs in Tunisia.

i have been reading up on it..
when i knew Mondher it was mondher himself that was the big fish.. lol!!
he had contacts in tunesia... and in tunesia steroids are CHEAP! lol... Also Egypt is nearby, there steroids are also CHEAP!
no one in his right mind would start a ugl in one of those places lol!
The Nature's Best supplement line was just a front! lol.....
and that story about the bodybuilder with this basballsized cyste on his ass... lol
I remember Ed van Amsterdam having one, it was removed in the hospital, Ed at the time was sponsered by........ yep Natures Best.
Mondher was having all kinds of problems with the fiod(irs) even was bancrupt as i read....
that story was just to clean his name somewhat, as he was arrested and they found large amounts of steroids in his house.
he was doing some stuff to make quick money, and payed for it.... that is my gutfeeling.....

The REAL Mr.O should be not only cut, proportioned, dense...etc but also THE BIGGEST in my book. PHIL is not the REAL O in my book.

His proportion is really bad. Ragging bodyparts. He cant be a Mr.O
Now, I think Kai is the best. Just he dont dial right in at Mr.O.

That's the tragic thing, many people in the cult life "rollercoaster lives", also the good & honest ones. I've heard too many stories like this, for me the reason to keep them on a certain distance, not that I have something against them.

Yeah, I remember Ronald got killed by a group of cowards, also very sad. When I'm correct, he became only 35... I saw him compete on the Dutch night of the champions, guy was a beast.

this.
if not the biggest one of the biggest..
i like phil but he just got a pass because everyone has that arm fetish beach muscle menatality....
if his standout bodypart wasnt his arms... trix et al would be singing a different tune...

honestly guys it's not just all size, you can't deny he has decent proportions, pretty small waist (for today's standard), decent striations in some areas, decent balance (not lacking calves or forearms like some guys), granted it's not 70's physique but we're not going to see that again any time soon i think, and sure he is narrow but so was levrone ronnie arnold and lots of other competetive bb'ers

and he carries the seos extremely well compared to some *other* O's.

Ronnie was narrow? Wtf are you smoking?  ??? ??? ???

yeah... it was his "friend" that shot him during a ripdeal... (drugs)
first broke his legs with baseball bats.... sick....
Ronald was a huge basterd... legit 55plus cm arms... dude was about 1,90....
but like so many got caught up in the fast life, and payed for it...
yeah i was early 30's..... still very young.... SAD
