Inevitably Hulk wins, as he does against everyone thats been listed above

Thing would put up a decent offence for a very short period of time IMO but there is no way Hulk doesnt win this by landslide, he smashes him.

If were looking for dream match ups i would have to say, again, that Dr Manhatten vs Exodus is a destroyer of worlds..........

Whilst i appreciate that the character has managed to evolve i still dont think he would be able to take down Hulk in a battle. Hulk ALWAYS finds a way, his rage makes him seemingly invincible although it would entirely depend on which Hulk was fighting. If it was as clean cut as your argument i dare say Iceman would be THE great superhero as nobody would manage to get close to him to defeat him, he is the Tigra (T'cats) of Marvel - a strong, under appreciated back up but never the main man.

On a side note, one of my favourite cartoons as a kid was this..........

would a better matchup not be........

Somehow the only Superhero fight that I find mildly interesting is the Batman issues where he runs against Superman, because those two have such a different character. Batman Hush comes to mind.

But the "Hero on hero" (or rivalry) slugfest was created by Marvel in the early 60's and it was a staple in their growth into the mainstream. And "Hulk vs Thing" was the beginnings of that and it has evolved to every one now comparing who could beat who from whatever comic company they are from.
